Kelly stared in frozen silence at Perry. "No one gets HURT?" What? Did Perry know this man?
She slowly inched away from the stranger as the tension built. The gun in Perry's hands looked rock steady, and there was no glint of crazy in his face now. "NOW, Edgar!" Perry commanded, and the smaller man stepped casually forward, right arm extended.
"Perry! Great to see you, old chum. It's been..."
"Quiet! Stop right there. Put your weapons on the ground."
"Weapons, Perry? I'm unarmed."
"Yeah, right. Not a chance in hell. Colt from your shoulder harness. NOW." The stranger hesitated briefly, then shrugged as he slowly removed a hand gun from under his coat with two fingers and lowered it carefully to the ground.
"Listen, old bu..."
"Now the Rutger from your waistband." The second gun joined the first on the ground.
"And the Stag," said Perry, and he watched as Edgar cursed quietly, and removed the hunting knife from his right boot.
"Added any more since the old days?" Perry asked, as he pushed the other man into the fence, and used both hands to search him.
Apparently satisfied, Perry called, "Kelly, put his armory in your pack for safety, will you? Edgar and I have some unfinished business."
