Kelly didn't move. She had been frozen by fright, and did not feel like moving anytime soon.
"NOW, Kelly!" Perry's smooth and calm voice from before had turned into a furious, uncharacteristically deep bark. Kelly still hesitated to move, waiting for the perfect moment.
"I'm warning you, you better leave or else!" Perry pointed the gun at Kelly, his hand on the trigger. Still waiting...
BOOM!
Kelly knew that it was the perfect moment. She grabbed the Colt and fired. Perry fell. "Now what?" Kelly asked the man next to her. "Edgar, was it?"
"Yes. Thank you for taking out Perry."
"Why?"
"Because, without him in my way, nothing can stop me from killing you!"
The man's arm suddenly began to change into a cannon-like object. Kelly ducked and grabbed Perry's gun as an energy ball went over her head. Kelly attempted to fire Perry's gun, but it only shot blanks. Kelly realized that she could try to hit him with the Colt, or try to hit him with the knife.
